finally...i get to know what it is like being confronted by a keyboard...coz for the last two weeks all that i have encountered are books, paper...pens...a strange language called Math...and even stranger people...

to update all of you out there about my life and 'companions' here... there are some 15 odd women from Delhi...strange what that city does to women..coz all of them still seem to be stuck in Barbie Land!! they do everything in a group of 15..from going out for cacophonic dinners to equally loud walks...and they insist on eating only at Pizza Hut or McDonalds...( I was even stared at quite strangely for not knowing what McD's (that's how the cool people from Delhi call McDonanlds) stood for...the seniors treat us juniors like court jesters...so everytime they don't feel sleepy..they decide to wake us up and make us entertain them...all kinds of things from singing...to acting like idiots...

my roomie is from Meghalaya..her first time out of the north east...she looks like a scoop of butterscotch...i couldn't have asked for more...she looks straight out of a Johnson's Baby Soap Ad!!

more on the city...the city is awesome..especially the weather...have been going on long walks all over the place...i don't even feel the need for transport...

as for class....i have realised that Math is the secret to happiness in life...hence i will never be happy in life...sigh!! the only class that i do well in is Economic History...and the prof who is right wing..pretty much appreciates my participation...although it is at the risk of being called a 'geek' by the rest of the class...

have been getting used to various pronounciations of my name...from 'Bibha' to 'Viva' to 'Bhiva'...it's an exhilirating experience...trust me...

just took a math test today...did miserably...most probably will have to take it again at the end of the semester..which does not leave me any time to even stare at the flowers on campus...oh the rigours i have to go through to save the world!! (good ol' pretentious me is back in form here!!)

my Loomie (Loomie = Loo Mate..just as Roomie=Room mate...that's coz she shares only the loo with me and my roomie...) finally spoke today...i had almost suspected that she was an android...coz we didn't manage to strike even a monosyllabic conversation with her...only a cordial nodding of heads..although her nod was more of a grim 'hmm..i approve of you so far'...

life so far revolves around classes and the library...am extremely overwhelmed at the moment by the world of Economics...
