About yet another Freshers' party...to my list of many...hahaha..feel archaic...
but i guess this is where it ends...isn't anything to write about...except that i was surrounded by several 20 year olds...many of whom were totally aghast at watching their fellow batchmates getting drunk...and jumping off chairs...after watching classmates getting high on DD (Dope and Daru) Parties at Journalism School...this felt like Pre school...
so where did i leave you my fellow beings...ah ..yes of course...life at gokhale...hmmm...managed a 50 percent in my first test..(thank god it isn't being counted)...i am beginning to seriously doubt my future as an economist...i don't even have questions to ask...and the first step (i have been told) to becoming a good 'anything' is asking the right questions...
does having the right intentions qualify enough to become a good economist...i doubt...but then again i don't doubt that seriously enough...coz right now i have been reduced to an Android's existence...where life begins at dawn...and way after the dogs start howling...which leaves me with scarce time to question anything outside the ambit of the syllabus...i have been reduced to everything that i was afraid to reduce myself into...
i broke all records yesterday as i attended college for a marathon 8 and a half hours...with just half an hour for lunch...
my only refrain from the world so far has been flipping through the Communist Manifesto as i lay on my yellow bedsheet draped bed on sunday and indulged in pretence once again as i dreamt of changing the world...

in order to excel in anything one must get the fundas right... So.. what you refer to as syllabus may help you immensely to analyse the finer details later on.
And this hold true for everything ..also economics...
And yeah... Rome wasnt built in a day...
hi prathamesh!!
so good to hear from you..been some time...
i am not too scared of math..so that helps...just that my basics aren't too good...so i am obviously stumbling along...
but hopefully i will survive!! i have to...coz i really don't have a Plan B...and don't intend on getting one either...
do write to me!! and you better have something 'exciting' to write about!!
p.s bonding with the delhi chicks...well...will not put my relationship with them that way...coz it's like the difference between a McD's (have been stared at for not knowing that McD's sttod for McDonalds) burger and a plate of poha on the thela outside college!!
coz...i am still gettting stared at by them for choosing Economic History over Monetary Economics!!
in their words.."Eco History is so uselass yaar!!" (Full punju accent maar ke!!)
Hi anonymous!!
am completely in line with that thought that i need to master my syllabus in order to ask the right questions later on...
just that i am starved of conversations here...
will not even try building Rome in a day!!
